AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY SUPERVISORS, COORDINATORS, AND DIRECTORS OF LANGUAGE PROGRAMS |
Second Language Research and Practice (SLRP) is the open-access, peer-reviewed journal of the American Association of University Supervisors, Coordinators, and Directors of Language Programs (AAUSC). Published annually in the fall, the journal's aim is to address postsecondary language education from theoretical, empirical, and practical perspectives through the publication of research papers and reports. SLRP disseminates scholarship relevant to program direction, including curriculum design, articulation, assessment, and professional development. Replacing the long-running Issues in Language Program Direction series, the journal welcomes contributions from diverse professional backgrounds and represents a wide range of languages. SLRP is published by the National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa in collaboration with several national Language Resource Centers.
Volume 1 appeared in Fall 2020 and celebrates 30 years of AAUSC publications with pieces from past editors and a special feature on language teaching and learning in times of crisis.
We accept submissions year round, please consider submitting your work for publication. Details are available at Second Language Research & Practice.
