Genre-based Writing in the Communicative Curriculum
How do we help students see writing as an act of communication, and not merely the chance to demonstrate mastery of grammatical structures? This session presents a method for designing writing prompts that invite students (including heritage learners) to engage with authentic texts and participate in global language communities.
