This presentation introduces the literary in the everyday, a framework for understanding the metaphorical nature of everyday language. Participants learn to identify the literary in everyday texts and develop an integrated set of activities that scaffold reading, writing and cultural competencies. Examples from OER will demonstrate implementation.
